Direct KNX/EIB bus access via TPUART, coupled to a freely programmable ESP32-C6 – serial interface on the host via USB, or WiFi and Bluetooth instead.
Now with the ESP32-C6: Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax, 2.4 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE and – unlike the previous ESP32-C3 – an IEEE 802.15.4 radio for Thread and Zigbee, which is what makes Matter over Thread possible in the first place. The ESP32-C3 variant is being phased out and remains available while stocks last.
Free firmware turns the TUL into a KNX interface an AI agent can commission, not just talk through: it assigns individual addresses, reads and writes device memory and properties, drives the load state machines and installs address and association tables – the connection-oriented management services ETS itself uses – then publishes to MQTT with Home Assistant discovery. The stick answers MCP directly on your LAN. Flash it in the browser: install.busware.de/TUL/mcp/ (ESP32-C6 recommended).
Ethernet extension (option): the W5500 extension connects the stick by cable instead of Wi-Fi; with PoE it takes network and power over that one cable. Both variants require the ESP32-C6 and are selected as an option above.
Note: We supply OEM hardware without firmware only – not a finished end product. Flashing the firmware and commissioning are the buyer's own responsibility.
